Fishing shall be permitted in Lake Michael from a boat issued by the city or from
a privately owned boat licensed under the provisions of this article. Bank fishing
from designated and approved areas may also be permitted. Seining or trapping of fish
shall be prohibited. The city council reserves the right to prohibit fishing in any
specific areas of the lake. Fish may be taken only with rod, line and hook, baited
with natural bait, or artificial flies. All bait must be approved by the lake attendant.
Not more than two poles are allowed to be used by each individual.
