§ 24-77. Disbursement.

The funds appropriated by the city council and budgeted to the recreation and parks department shall be disbursed by the fiscal disbursing officer of the city in the same manner as are funds for other departments of the unit, within the budgeted funds of the department. Funds received from revenue producing activities of the department shall be deposited with the city's fiscal officer to the credit of the department and shall be disbursed by the city's disbursing parks department by the unit. All funds from other than city appropriated sources shall be deposited by the city to the credit of and for the use of the department and shall be disbursed as are other city appropriated monies except that funds received from gifts, bequests or from other than the units general fund such as revenues produced by the department or from recreation tax sources of the city, shall be disbursed in accordance with the terms of the voted tax and/or of such gift or bequest.
