§ 24-34. Meetings.

Recreation and parks commission meetings shall be held on a monthly basis unless when determined otherwise by the commission. The chair of the commission or, in his absence, the vice-chair, may call a special meeting of the commission at any time by giving each member 24 hours' notice. Special meetings will be scheduled upon request by four or more commission members. A quorum of the commission shall be in attendance before action of an official nature can be taken. A quorum is at least one more than the number of the appointed members absent.
